Ugh

Y'all, I am so sick. I have a horrible cold.

So no December chatty today. I just want to go to sleep. Being able to breathe without coughing would be nice, too. And thinking clearly is usually good.

It reminds me of one of the best lines from the Tom Hanks movie "The Money Pit":

A while ago I thought the Care Bears were here!

Hopefully this won't last long--of course, my Princess has had it for three days now--and I will be back to my cheerful self. Meanwhile, if you don't see me, it's because I decided no posts or responses were better than delerious ones, funny only to myself (c'mon, I just quoted "The Money Pit". Is that the act of a healthy woman?)

Rest. Take it easy and let Mr. DQ take care of you and the Princess.

We'll wait. -V95

With these mutant colds and flu’s going around now, I hope you can shake it in a few days. It seems like the old three day cold has turned into the three week cold. I wish you well.

Yeah, take care of yourself. I suppose it's too late for echinacea, but maybe some ginseng?

Go to bed, let the laundry pile up if you have to, just get better.

Poor girl!
Hope it's a standard bug, goes away quickly and doesn't linger like some of them do.

Hilarious.

If they have the Shower Soothers over there, get some. It's a little tablet that melts in your shower while you bask in the menthol steam. Your husband will think you smell like a cough drop, but you'll be able to breathe.

Yes, quoting the money pit is a sure sign of a serious case of flu. Much bed-rest and liquids lady, get thee better.
